Game Overview
The Light of Xaryxis has served as a wellspring of magical power for a thousand years, nurturing the Xaryxian Empire of astral elves that call it their home star. When the light begins to fail, Emperor Xavan must turn to darker, more parasitic means to sustain his people...
That's where you come in. You've fought to protect towns, cities, nations, perhaps even entire worlds, but you've never faced a threat like this. With the fate of Wildspace itself hanging in the balance, with countless trillions of lives across the Astral Sea under siege will you rise to the occasion and do battle across the universe? Or will you crumble under the pressure to drift as stardust forever more?
Running from 5th to 8th level, this 12-session campaign will introduce you to all the wonderful new races, monsters, mechanics, and of course Spelljammer ships that Wizards of the Coast has to offer. The campaign will only be loosely based on the pre-written module, so no spoilers if you own the set, and there is always the potential for the party to continue adventuring indefinitely. To quote the Prophet of TTRPG's, heir apparent to actual-play DND... "I'll see you in the stars."
Player Expectations
Whether you're new to D&D, just new to Spelljamming, or if you know Wildspace like the back of your hand, you're more than welcome at my table. This adventure will see you fight strange and powerful creatures, captain a spaceship, explore the Astral Sea, and hopefully defend your home world. While there will be moments of heartbreak, tragedy, loss, and failure, the overwhelming vibe will be "goofy shenanigans in space." Rule of Cool always takes priority over Rules as Written, nonsense and tomfoolery is encouraged, and you'll love to hate the villains.
