AUCKLAND - ONLINE

My DMing adventures started when I was 13 and my parents handed me a red box labelled Dungeons & Dragons. After pouring over the books and making up characters, we sat down to play the adventure. Half an hour later all the characters were dead. I thought I misunderstood the rules, but it turned out that carrion crawlers are just lethal to level 1 adventurers. My family never let me DM for them again.

Despite this inauspicious start, it provoked a lifetime love for roleplaying games of all types. I’ve been especially involved in Live Action Role-Playing (LARP), having written and ran many campaigns and one-off LARPs. For table-top RPG’s, I enjoy both running pre-written adventures, and creating my own homebrew stories where players can have agency over where the adventure leads them.

I love crafting immersive and evocative worlds filled with in-depth NPC’s, moral dilemmas, diplomacy and politics, and some good old-fashioned monster hunting. And I promise, no carrion crawlers until at least level 2.

LARP - Live Action Roleplay. Costume up and leave the tabletop behind! There are various styles and sizes of LARP, from murder mystery evenings all the way to epic combat adventures using specially designed LARP-safe weapons. In person only.

Blood Feud - A Vampire the Masquerade Megagame. A highly thematic, team-based, strategic game for 4-32 players. In person only.
